I had to wrench this one out of the jaws of a photoshop crash. I WOULD NOT LET IT DIE.
But yay Polly!

The First Doctor 2011 by ~SteveAndrew

If they want to make a full length movie, then why don’t they go back and write about why he stole the TARDIS, why Susan was traveling with him…Answer the questions that all Whovians want to know the answers to and it would still be a movie that people who have never watched the show can get into. That would be a better idea than just throwing out the Canon altogether. Are you listening BBC????? And have Moffat write it.

As much as I love One, I could not disagree more! These mysteries are core to the universe of Doctor Who. If you take them away, give nice easy answers for everything, then the Doctor loses his magic.
Of all the things RTD did that I didn’t agree with the one thing that I love him for was was turning down the idea to make a young Doctor cartoon with the Doctor on Gallifrey. He said more or less what I did, it would take the mystery out of the character.
Besides, anyone who has their head deep enough in extended canon has a good idea of what went down anyway. And that was told in a brilliant, blink and you miss it, totally non-mystery-ruining way.

One/Vicki

Barbara liked Vicki quite a lot, she was an odd sort of girl but she’d had all types come through her class room and Vicki had the sort of intelligence that she always found her self drawn to. It was strange though, she thought, how much time Vicki like to spend with the Doctor; certainly a young girl couldn’t have anything much in common with such man, even older that the considerable years his face displayed. Only with Vicki he never seamed that old, and when Barbara heard the pair of them giggling over something through the corridors of the TARDIS she swore they sounded more like a pair of smitten teenagers than anything else.

PSA: One Is Delightful

I was honestly surprised by how much I love One, I really think that he is at his best with Vicki, she just really brings out his adorable.

I feel like there aren’t enough happy shots of the original Team TARDIS. These are wonderful.

Hug pile on Onesies!

One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.

First Doctor (via mischievous-medusa)

One of my favourites quotes.

Bam, you are suddenly incredibly aroused by One. There is no saving throw.

You are welcome.

The more Companion Chronicles I listen to the more I love them

I thought the first person thing or lack of Doctors would bother me but they have been fantastic. Wonderful little shots of insight and depth for the One, Two, Three and Four era companions.
